Vintage Railroad Signs are considered an art form and have significant historical value. Some of the best logo and sign designers of the past did great work for the train companies identity. The Western Pacific and the Denver Rio Grande Scenic Route logos and posters are among my favorites. The lettering on the old railroad cars and engines was all hand painted.
